I am pleased to announce that Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry – ICCI in
collaboration with Ministry of Housing
and Work is organizing 1st International Housing Expo – 2022 from December 8-11, 2022 at
Convention Center, Islamabad. The
Prime Minister of is expected to be Chief Guest at the inaugural ceremony of Expo.
I am thankful to Mr.Iftikhar Ali Shillwani, Federal Secretary for Housing and Works for
holding the Expo in collaboration with
Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
The main objective of the Expo is to provide “shelter to all”, because this one of the basic
needs and rights of every citizen
of Pakistan to have its own home. On the sidelines, policy dialogues shall be held in which
experts from public, private and
academia shall be invited to discuss opportunities and suggest possible solutions to provide
housing to all segments of the
society through various initiatives and policy reforms.
In the expo local and foreign companies shall participate and it would be an excellent
opportunity for the companies
engaged in housing, real estate development, builders, architects and designers, allied
industries in housing and real estate
development etc. to showcase and introduce their projects to a large number of visitors.
Many countries have shown their interest to participate in the event, whereas, Diplomats,
Ministers and dignitaries shall be
invited to visit the exhibition on a daily basis. The event shall be heighted through TV
commercials, press and social media.
The ICCI in September 2022 had organized “ICCI Pakistan Property Housing and Construction
Expo 2022”. It was a very
successful 3-day event in which about 80 companies participated and was attended by a large
number of people. In that
event, a furniture expo was also held in which companies displayed a variety of high quality
furniture.
I am sure that 1st International Housing Expo 2022 shall be very successful with the
participation of local and foreign
companies and good results shall be achieved in the breakout sessions to turnaround Pakistan
with a new area of housing
for all.
